Form 21 — The Record About You

Privacy.

DPDP Act, 2023
Amdavad, Gujarat

We keep records. That is the whole idea of this company, so it would be strange to be cagey about the records we keep on you. This page is the plain version.

What we hold

Three things, and only when you hand them over:

  • An account. Your email address, and a phone number if you choose to add one. Your password is never stored in a form we can read — that is handled by our authentication provider.
  • Poll answers. What you told us in the public record, along with the email you filed it under, so we can count each person once rather than each submission.
  • A history, if you already had one. If you have bought from us or come to a show, there is an older record with what you bought and what you spent. When you make an account with the same email, the two are joined so you can see it.

Consent, kept separately

The three boxes on the poll are three separate decisions — the monthly dispatch, the Karyakarta, and anonymous analysis. None of them is bundled into any other, and none is required to file the form.

We record each decision with the date it was made, so we can show you what you agreed to and when. Withdrawing one does not affect the others, and it takes effect from the moment you tell us.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data. Not to anyone, not for anything.
  • We do not buy lists, and we do not add people who did not ask.
  • We do not track you around other websites.
  • We do not need your data to leave India, and we do not send it there.

The poll results

Poll results are published on 8 August in aggregate — counts and percentages. No names, no email addresses, no way to work out who said what. The point is to show our working, not to expose the people who helped.

Your rights, and how to use them

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask us what we hold about you, correct it, withdraw a consent, or have it erased. Write to the office and say which. We will act on it and write back to confirm.

If we have not dealt with you properly, you may take it to the Data Protection Board of India. We would rather you gave us the chance to fix it first.

Who to write to

This page changes when our practices change. It does not change quietly — the date below moves with it.
